The mix of pastel and vibrant colors makes for an eye-catching and beautiful read. The cover, colors, and short rhythmic statements in these books are well suited to a short read aloud. VERDICT While this series would make a perfect gift set, since it offers space for personalization, these titles would also be a strong addition to board book collections that serve children from birth to age one.-Danielle Schwessinger
